Michael Curtis has a degree in Product and Industrial Design (Academy
of Art University, San Francisco), with a special focus the use of
recycled materials in manufacturing. He has worked with a number of
innovative design studios in the Bay Area (such as Mauk Design and KID
Inc.) consulting on environmental/tradeshow booth design, toy
design/product development; mechanical drafting & 3D rendering.
Seeking alternatives to traditional industrial production techniques,
he went on to study sustainable methodologies, earning a certificate in
Permaculture Design. He is now applying his unusual and innovative
design concepts to landscape design, innovative industrial products,
soft goods, illustration and web design.
